A3F All-Stars Challenge 2025

Heroes and Villains 3

It's been 10 years in the making! Welcome to the third edition of the A3F Heroes and Villains All-Stars Challenge. Will you emerge as a hero or a villain? Invitations starting September 5. Stay tuned!

HOW IT WORKS?

Starting September 5, select teams will receive an invitation to participate in the A3F Heroes and Villains All-Stars Challenge. Teams will have 48 hours to either accept or pass until we have our 10 teams. We will then hold a draw for two wildcard spots open to A3F teams that did not qualify.

Selection criteria will be based on past A3F challenge history. All eligible teams must have competed in two or more A3F film challenges and placed in the Top 10 at least twice or placed in the Audience or Judges' Top 3 to be considered. With so many talented teams, this will truly be an All-Stars Challenge!

CHALLENGE CRITERIA

Teams will have 10 days to complete their 5-8 minute films. At our special kick-off party, team leaders will draw either a "HERO" or "VILLAIN" that they must use in their film. The type of character is up to you, can be an every day hero or superhero, a comic book villain or just a regular wrongdoer.
