Music Video Challenge - Summer 2008

The inaugural A3F Music Video Challenge was a HUGE success ... 17 teams of filmmakers took on the challenge of creating original music videos from our participating bands/artists songs.

The videos then premiered online where viewers from around the world watched and voted for their favorite videos. Our panel of judges also weighed in and selected their favorites. What a talented and awesome collection of filmmakers who quickly became Almost Famous!

Challenge Introduction
We picked the songs, YOU chose your challenge! Welcome to a cool new event for filmmakers in Arizona, across the country and around the world! Featured in the Arizona Republic. We selected seven of the hottest music artists and bands that represented a variety of styles and genres. These original sounds made up the audio tracks for the music videos!

Voting & Prizes
Viewers from around the world watched and voted on the completed videos. The overall winning Music Video won a $500 cash prize with each band selecting their favorites and dishing out $200 cash prizes. Additional accolades were given to the teams with the best Cinematography, Story and Editing.
