What a fantastic night! Over 75 people celebrated the inaugural Actor and Actress Challenge with a party hosted by the A3F and
GreatTalents. The judges' results were revealed, prizes and awards were given out, and a community coming together to support one another made for a most memorable evening!

The A3F and MyStudio have teamed up to offer an exciting new challenge designed solely for
actors and
actresses ... no directors, no sets, no call times, no drama -- just your opportunity to shine!
Participating actors and actresses will deliver a
monologue or
scene from a script in the MyStudio Recording Studio located in Scottsdale Fashion Square mall. This state-of-the-art studio uses HD green screen technology and professional audio capturing tools to make you look your
Hollywood best.
Choose from hundreds of
backgrounds to fit your scene and look and even bring in props to enliven your performance. There is no need for a camera, a mic or a director yelling, "Action!" It's all up to you ... you just
step inside the studio, deliver your best performance and hopefully become
Almost Famous!

The panel of judges will select their overall winning
Actor and
Actress in addition to placing the top performances on the MyStudio web site for online voting and prizes.
1st Place Actor/Actress (judges' vote) - Each receives one month worth of classes at Dearing Acting Studio and a Head Shot package by Scott Foust photography, total value $520
1st Place Actress (online vote) - One hour consultation with Verve Studios, complimentary Hair & Makeup session by Kelle Thompson and Roxie Gonzales at Prova Salon and $100 worth of gift cards from MyStudio, total value $290
1st Place Actor (online vote) - One hour consultation with Verve Studios and $100 worth of gift cards from MyStudio, total value $140 (additional prize t.b.a.)
